Sunday notes

Who knew the HoJo in Victoria would come stacked with free wi-fi?  What a fantastically wonderful surprise.  The past two night have officially been the earliest I have been to bed on a vacation ever.  It follows that the mornings were the earliest as well.  Who says kids don’t change your life?

We’ve spent yesterday wandering the streets and I took my first ever trip to the Royal BC Museum.  More on that later.  Today we’re going to check out a castle that I’ve only ever heard of and then it’s back home.  Just in time to see the finale of the Amazing Race. 

I’ve told you before about how I’m always a bridesmaid when it comes to this stuff.  Sure enough, here’s how the pool is shaping up this time ’round.

• Dustin & Kandice are Aaron’s team.
• Eric (swoon!) & Danielle are my work husband, Brad’s.
• Of course, that leaves me with Charla & Mirna.

My thoughts and predictions?  As follows: I will be extremely disappointed if those blondes win.  I feel a great deal of disgust every time I see there faces so I’d hate to learn that they take the prize.  I think that Charla and Mirna, as annoying as they can be, deserve it most because I think they are good people.  They never wished or caused anyone harm and were quick to offer help.  And Eric’s seriously hot, so… he kind deserves it just based on that. 

Yesterday marked one year since I went on my first date with Aaron.  How time flies.

And let me just say, I am loving this trend manufacturers are getting on of stamping the details inside of their clothes as opposed to attaching annoying and sometimes painful tags.  Brilliant!
